Hi Daniel, Is this the remains of a Martello Tower.? Used as an early telegraph system. Messages were received and sent,(relayed), to the next Tower and so on to its final destination. Good photograph and with a balance to the subject. Not taken with just the tower standing on its own. Not an easy subject to photogreph and capture the surrounds also. DAN
