Today I found a Spider pottering about the house so the first thought that came to mine was to grab the camera and take some pictures and video. The spider was captured via the use of a Wine Glass and a panel from a cereal box (Oats and More). It was then released from its glass and cardboard prison out on the garden table and before you can blink a gust of wind comes along and the spider and cardboard take off flying through the air leaving the video camera fixated on the garden table. I had hoped to take some more photos of the spider outside, but he was obviously in a great rush to get away and caught the fastest departing flight – almost as good as a flying carpet. Out of curiosity does anybody know what type of spider this is? Enjoy the photos and videos (two alternate angles).
