Meet Ronaldo the Macaw at Blackpool Zoo

Meeting Ronaldo the Macaw at Blackpool Zoo was certainly one of the highlights of the visit. They have some wonderfully colored plumage and weigh in at around 1200-1300 grams. Surprisingly they have a bite pressure far exceeding that of humans (approx 160lbs) on the order of 1000 lbs.
