The “Lough”, is the Irish word for ” lake”. It is about 15 minutes walk from the
city centre. Well worth the small effort to see it when you visit this City. There is an island in the centre of this lake where the wild life have sanctuary. All the birds are very friendly and it is a beautiful place to relax. Also a wonderful place if you wish to photograph and study the movement of the wildlife. DAN
