Quite a number of the previous posts have focused on photographs within the general area of Europe, so here are a few photographs of the Botanical Gardens located in the city of Taichung, Taiwan. They are located in the same area as (and are part of) the National Museum of Natural Science, so you can expect a few photographs from this museum in the near future as well. These photographs were taken in mid December 2007 when the weather was about 20 degrees C.
What beautiful views of Tiawan you are sharing with us. Thank you. DAN
Nice pictures Daniel, really like that first sculpture.
Thanks for the comment & visit, the sculpture is quite amazing to see in reality.
Wonderful series! That giant bug…wow!
Looks even bigger when you see somebody in front of it

Fantastic
Thanks for the visit, glad you like the photographs.
You’re welcome!
That is quite an amazing structure! Nice series of images to give an impression of the place.
Is that an elevator inside the tall glass structure? If so: was the elvator open to the public?
Looks like a nice place. Definitely much bigger than it’s equivalent in Oslo!

I think it is, didn’t go up on it, should allow for a good view over the gardens.
