The following are just a few photographs of some wonderful sand sculpture that I came across on the beach between St Aubin’s and St Helier on the island of Jersey.

That is the most amazing sand sculpture that I’ve ever seen. I’m grateful that there are artists in the world like this person or people. Thanks for sharing the photos.
These sculptures were certainly fantastic. A great example of art, one however you can’t really purchase and take home, one must just enjoy it and savor the moment.
Amazing, how is it done?
Honestly I have no idea, all the sculpting had been done when I came across them.
What amazing work! And your photos really catch the details. Thanks for sharing these, Daniel.
Thanks for stopping by, delighted you like the photos. They were certainly amazing to see in real time. A great example of art that lasts for a very finite period of time.

I spent just a week in Jersey, one could certainly spend week their just looking around seeing all that it has to offer, a really great place to visit. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to visit Durrell Zoo, perhaps another time ! Thanks for stopping by and leaving the comment, glad you like the photos, the sculpture is really great.

wow-really amazing! My castles never look like that!
Nice photos!
The best castle I ever produced was the result of upturning a sand castle making bucket.
Thanks for visiting. Love the sand sculptures
Thanks for the visit & comment, the sculptures certainly are wonderful.
It is simply unbelievable how some of the great sand castles of today are made in competitions like this. I remember as a kid I was happy to just get a mound to stand up, let alone try sculpting and stacking!
How amazing. I never have seen anything like this before. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you like them, I hadn’t seen anything like them either.
Thank you for visiting my blog and liking the post being a Tourist in London. I hope you enjoy my 3 things each day!

This is really beautiful! I love all the detail..it must have taken them ages to do this! Great photos.
Its certainly amazing, I have no idea how long it took, I also wonder how long it would last.

Wow! Look at that detail!
Beautiful–and so temporary–a statement in itself.
Thanks for dropping by, certainly is an art form that you can’t just buy and take home. Its present for all in the area to see before it gets eroded away by the elements.
Just beautiful–glad I followed the reblog, and now have to follow you!
Amazing.
That is the most gorgeous sand castle I have ever seen. Wonderful photos!!
Until the moment I came across it I had never seen a sand castle quite like that, and haven’t seen anything like it since.
Thank you for visiting and liking my post. The sand art we saw today wasn’t a patch on those you have here but it was fun to see having just read this post
